Long Distance Memory Makers

Being away from my children during this season of my life is the hardest thing I have ever had to do.  I would take fighting the tumor over fighting the government any day for the main reason that it was easier on my kids when my brain was cut in two, instead of my heart.  This whole experience has taught me so many things.  I am very heartbroken over all of it.  But, I have found some things that have made it a little easier to be so far away from my kiddos.
Mad Libs, Create your own Ending Storybooks, and Would you Rather questions have been the go to for nighttime routine memory making.  I am so thankful that we can create and converse from a distance with the help of these things.  We giggle and laugh.  We pick outrageous adjectives to make mad lib stories fun. We discuss who we would rather be dancing with, a skeleton or a dinousaur. We read to each other.  We make memories together even if we are far away.
