Dear Zulia

Zulia, 

Every day I get closer to finding you.  I can feel it in my heart.  I can’t wait to hug you. I can wait to hold you.  I can’t wait for Zoey to show you her sticker collection.  I can’t wait for me to make you and the others hula hoops. You have so many sisters and brothers, I am sure.  I can’t wait to count them all with you.  Can you count to 10.  I am certain I saw more than 15. 

The day I get to hold you again it will be one of the happiest day of my life were relief will consume me and I will finally give my heart permission to love you. 

I believe God made no mistake when you wound up in my arms that day.  I am sorry it has taken me so long to find you.

I will never forget the woman that you made ME become. You have introduced me to a stronger and independent version of myself that I never knew I could be.  

I will see you soon.  I am so sure of it. I have never been so sure of anything more in my life.
